The Province of Pisa (Italian: Provincia di Pisa) is a province in the Tuscany region of central Italy. Its capital is the city of Pisa. With an area of 2,448 square kilometres (945 sq mi) and a total population of 421,642 (As of 2014), it is the second most populous and fifth largest province of Tuscany. It is subdivided into 37 comuni. With a history dating back to the Etruscans and Phoenicians, the province achieved considerable power and influence in the Mediterranean in the 12th and 13th centuries. Pisa, the provincial capital, is well known for its Leaning Tower which attracts tourists to the area with many historic landmarks.

This is the art gallery and exhibition space of Irish owner artist Siobhan Doyle. This beautiful space in the ancient Etruscan walled city of Volterra is the perfect setting for displaying her original hand-pulled silkscreens / serigraphs. Using her own unique technique to produce artworks that reflect the ever changing seasonal colours and textures of Tuscany. Siobhan is always happy to talk about her work and explain her silkscreening technique. During your visit you can also view her works inspired by the ancient Celtic art of Ireland. In the historic center of Volterra, Olga Niescier has her beautiful gallery Kapla Art Living. For me as a photographer it is an inspiring space with tasteful art and beautiful use of materials. Definitely a must to visit when you are in Volterra !!

It is possible to enjoy sculptures and jewelery, drinking special wine, also without sulphites, organic juices of cranberry or Ayurvedic infusion or tea, tasting Sardinian cheese and looking at one spectacular leading Tower.You are welcome!!-----------E' una galleria d'arte e uno slow bar.
