A Carousel for Missoula

THE CAROUSEL IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO HELP STOP THE SPREAD OF COVID19. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING, AND PLEASE STAY SAFE. This beautiful carousel, completed in 1995, was the brainchild and vision of a local Missoula cabinet-maker, who carved much of the structure himself and also trained an enthusiastic team of volunteers to assist in the project.

Want to feel like a child again??? Get on this beautifully restored carousel!!!! But be warned, this is not a ride for the faint of heart. One of the fastest carousels in the world, it spins at a heart racing 8mph!!! (Yes, they provide seat belts) Be sure to grab for the brass ring as you spin around... it's one of the only carousels in the world that still let's you win a prize!!!

Woodland Water Park

Reviewed By skbreck6 - Kalispell, United States

Woodland Park has provided the kids of Kalispell with active, wholesome, outdoor swimming and playground fun for at least 70 years. We applaud the consistent effort to keep this area safe and kid friendly for the communities families. Negatives: there have gotten to be too many ducks and some of the geese can be aggressive and frightening to younger children. I always carry a small stick to discourage them - better them than my grandchildren.

Big Sky Water Park

Reviewed By scouch71 - Millbrae, United States

My teenage boys and I visited glacier national Park and did all the hiking flyfishing and zip lining in the first four days and by the fifth day we needed a little break and had driven by the water park several times. Big sky waterpark is well run and managed, with the owner-manager walking around and checking on people and things often. The young people who work there were friendly and safety oriented. The slides are fun and well-maintained and I appreciate that they do not price gouge you – you can bring in water, food, chairs etc.
