7 Tramways in Florida That You Shouldn't Miss

April 1, 2022 Kelli Reichel

Not just for retirees and theme park enthusiasts, the Sunshine State offers beautiful beaches, pristine diving conditions, and sizzling nightlife. Salsa the night away in a smokin’ hot Miami club, or swing away at one of Kissimmee’s many premium golf courses. An airboat tour of the Everglades is an unforgettable adventure – just look out for alligators! For the risk-averse, a lazy day spent on the soft sands of an Emerald Coast beach is as rejuvenating as a spa treatment.

I highly recommend the Trolly Bus service to anyone staying along international Drive when visiting Florida we got a 3-day ticket and it was brilliant hop on and off when you want, it serves both malls and best of all you can go out for a meal and get the bus back! :) Definitely a must if you don’t have a car even if you do have a car it’s good! Only thing I would change is maybe start the service a bit earlier in the morning! Overall brilliant service ????

Great low stress and air conditioned trolley ride. Lots of hop on and hop off opportunities. The driver we had (since we were only ones on board ) gave a great history lesson of Ybor city and tampa. Also got the kids excited about having a cuban sandwhich, which they loved!! Bonus points to @Hattrick for the great cuban sandwhich.

Sun Rail

This is a good option for people who need to get to the Amway centre , Winter Park and the hospital as they can walk from the station to the centres. The prices are very reasonable, staff are helpful and train are very clean. The problem arises when you want to travel on weekends as the train does not run then. Also there need to be some connecting service to meet the train to take you to say the Florida Mall as the train stops at Sand Lake . As such it is not yet achieving its potential as a sustainable transport option but could so easily do this with more input. Early days I suppose.
