Amamoor Lodge is only 40 minutes from the coast and provides quiet and relaxing boutique country holiday accommodation where you’ll enjoy fine country hospitality. Amamoor Lodge has a traditional 3 bedroom Queenslander home with large wrap around verandahs for those who want spoiling; there are 5 self-catering studios for those who want to look after themselves. Breakfast and dinners are available and are cooked using fresh local produce. Amamoor Lodge is on 50 acres with a swimming pool, native gardens, forest walk and spectacular views across the valley. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, private bathroom, TV, r/c air-con and free WiFi. Amamoor Lodge is available for weddings, private and corporate events with a choice of settings around the property.

We had Malcolm and Christine arrange our tickets for the Mary Valley Rattler which was very enjoyable and then had a very comfortable stay in the lodge with our hosts preparing our dinner and breakfast which we had included in our tariff. Our room was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. Overall it was a very relaxing weekend and we were made to feel very welcome. We highly recommend Amamoor Lodge for a special weekend away in a beautiful unspoilt location.

Luxury 4 star, pet friendly B&B. Our spacious ensuite rooms are air conditioned and separate from the house. Each has its own entrance and verandah overlooking the gardens for extra privacy. Our hearty cooked breakfasts, full of local and homemade goodies, are a great way to start your day!

Reviewed By margaretw493We had booked a 4 night stay for the middle of October 2021. We made the booking through Booking.com a platform we regularly use. We paid for the four nights accommodation immediately and received a confirmation email stating the booking was confirmed. Upon receiving this email we then went ahead and made and paid for three activities in the Gympie area which we planned to attend during our 4 day stay. This was a big commitment involving several hundreds of dollars. Sadly the next morning I received a phone call for the owner/manager of the B&B who proceeded to tell me that a mistake had been made with my booking and we could only stay three nights not four and could we not change our booking. I was told some rather odd story about how somebody else must have been online and booked one of the nights whilst I was making my booking. All rather odd. He proceeded to cancel our booking with total disregard for any plans we had made. Be very cautious if looking to book at this establishment.

New manager Rose was friendly, but disappointed to hear there was no breakfast as web site had stated. Fire pit out front of cabin was great idea, pity no wood supplied, found dead wood in garden to use. Nice experience but didn't match all the excellent previous reviews,

Honeybee Farm is a new and purpose built farm stay accommodation experience in the picturesque Mary Valley. We offer wheelchair accessible rooms in a choice of two and three room cabins - a feature of the three room cabins is that one room has en suite facilities with the other two rooms sharing a bathroom. All cabins have a common lounge area with television and a kitchenette.

Reviewed By mandr2018These cabins have been well designed and constructed and the owners have created a beautiful set up with the backdrop of the rural property and the Mary Valley. The cabins have everything you need whilst staying there including the outdoor kitchen for group gatherings and fans on the decks. A great spot to relax and get away from it all.
