Feels like 'proper' countryside, even though it is right in the middle of drab, suburban housing estates and transport links. Nice areas of forest and woodland and great views over London. The asylum and the stories of witches and hauntings add to the atmosphere. Great for walking dogs and children

Purchasing tickets can sometimes take a little while ever since they removed the stand alone ticket tills. If the people in front are ordering popcorn and drinks as well as tickets then the wait time is even longer. Having said that however I have been coming to this cinema for years and find it to be clean and convenient with the standard seats being more comfortable than the premier ones. Friendly staff and a good selection of films and timings. .

Was told about this Redbridge owned fishing lake as being great for walking and dog exercising. Accessed down a rugged lane to a heavy metal gate, accessed by push button. Cafe with outdoor Seating area. Requested to sign in if walking dog, which we did. Quite a small area and we did not consider it a good idea to disturb the fishermen with a dog. Apparently you have to join and pay an annual fee, which is not mentioned on the notices.

I have been a member here for over five years and want to let everyone know what a great club Woodford is and why you should come along and give it a try.
The Course - Some of the best greens is Essex that will test you, the off green areas have been tidied up extensively over the last 2 years.
The Pro Shop - Kenny Banks is the resident pro and is one of the most helpful people you could come across. A well stocked shop and helpful tips are there for you.
The Clubhouse - A smallish clubhouse but a very well stocked bar and outside Seating area will be ready to welcome you.
Members - You will not come across a friendlier bunch of members at any other club, this I can guarantee.
