this is such a beautiful awesome place to hike, fish at, relax, family picnic. We had such an enjoyable fishing day and picnic. theres even golf frisbee there. beautiful trails to hike, great fishing. Love this place and I caught a great shovelhead catfish there too !!

I wanted to make sure my daughter understood how to use a gun safely, so I brought her here for some range time. I had several types of pistols I wanted her to try. Although we didn't need them, VRA has a variety of guns for rent. I had rented here before I bought and changed my mind after range time, wrong fit for my hand. The check in was easy and we were able to rent three side by side lanes for my daughter, son in law and me. The range officer made sure we knew to not transfer guns and ammo from the back of the range to the line, then demonstrated how to run the target controls. I didn't get any pics, but my daughter had several excellent shots using different pistols. When we finished, one range offcer offered to clean the lanes while another asked for a round count. They close and clean the range after some number of rounds. I had seen them cleaning a range on an earlier visit and noticed the personal protective equipment they were using. I was pleased they were concerned about employee exposure to lead and other toxins. We had a nice time and the employees thanked us for visiting. We'll go again.
