The Artists Hand Gallery & Espresso Bar

Reviewed By PAfarmgirl - Saltsburg

Checked out this place for the first time while doing the annual Indiana County's Taste and Tour. We stopped in to see what they had to sample on the walking tour, while there I just admired all the artwork, everything from abstract art to country. I found a very nice painting there and was able to lay it away on a very affordable payment plan. The gallery changes artist about every 3 months. The coffee is great there and it is served in a nice pottery cup.. the gallery also offers different classes that adults and children can take, This location is right on main street (Philadelphia Street) and close to everything. If you are a Jimmy Stewart fan , when crossing the streets in downtown you will hear a Jimmy Stewart voice impersonator saying it is okay to cross. The gallery also has some parking in the back of the building. There is main street parking and parking spaces right around the block. I recommend this place for anyone who loves art and coffee

This magnificent performance by the Gaither Vocal Band; The Isaacs; the Nelons; and others was protrayed beautifully in the new Kovachick Conference and Athletic Complex (KCAC) near the campus of IUP. The lighting, the sound, the staging, all perfectly complimented the instruments and the voices of this traveling troop. The KCAC STAFF worked tirelessly to assist patrons to and from their reserved seats; and the food court served delicious beverages and foods. Bill GaIther himself said "THIS IS THE TYPE OF VENUE WE NEED TO BE USING MORE OFTEN".
Our compliments to the Premier Production organization for scheduling the Gaither Homecoming Friends in INDIANA, PA. The favorable response of those thousands attending attest to the success of the evening.

We took the young kids of two families here to enjoy the playground. We walked beside the lake. The dogs loved the area as well as we humans. There are superb pavilions for having picnics. Many would hold a hundred friends and/or family. We saw many birds and other small creatures.

Plainfield Recreation And Aquatic Center

So many senior classes. Yoga, water aerobics, classic aerobics, etc. Twice a month they host a senior social, lunch and a speaker. Senior road day trips are also planned. Going to Covered Bridge Festival in Oct.
Great facility for families also, with child care available. Indoor and outdoor pools, indoor track, walking paths, indoor basketball courts, exercise equipment, rowing machines and weights. The stationary bikes, elliptical and treadmills have earphone connections to watch tv. Scales and blood pressure checks are also available. The large locker rooms have showers and lockers. They have recently been remodeled. My only complaint is there are no private dressing rooms with doors.
A large TV is in the open lounge area. A community room with kitchen is available for rent. A large aerobics room is upstairs. Plenty of parking is available. Could use more handicap parking though.

Escape the Room Philly

Escape the Room is a fun, interactive game taking place in Philadelphia. While it looks like any other ordinary room, it's actually a mystery puzzle. Find the hidden objects, figure out the clues and solve the puzzles to earn your freedom and "Escape the Room." You have 60 minutes, so be quick! Come with your friends, family and coworkers and have a great time.

This is the first time my friends and I have participated in this business’ escape rooms. Being a group that has participated in other companies’ games, we were very excited to try a new brand. The game itself was fun. However, the service was awful. The attitude, verbal input, facial expressions, and mannerisms of the staff member that helped us was terrible. He appeared to be annoyed and openly spoke to the group as if we were being scolded for excitement. He was rude and unprofessional. Our group was not using foul language or being rude, we were asking questions in the beginning and cheering after winning. When we had asked about a provided example, he threatened to “dock time from the game” if he could not get through his speech. When we finished, members went to use the restroom after being in the room playing for the hour, and he stated they could not be in the group photo if they didn’t return within 30 seconds. (Luckily the business phone had rang and bought them some time to finish.) I’m not sure if he was just having a bad day, but if this is how this business operates, I’m not planning to go back and find out. I’ll choose a different business!!
