either on a summer day or an autumn day is a perfect place to walk, bike, roller skate. i don't recommend weekends in the evening because it's very crowded.

The botanic garden is really nice from April (because that's from this time of the year they have flowers, water, ... ), and it's really worthy. Tip: free every last friday of the month!
Good surprise for the aquarium with lots of differents fishes, as piranhas for example. At the contrary, I was really desappointed concerning the Planetarium and the other level: it's not really worthy, above all for the planetarium: there are just a few images of the different planets...

If you haven't experienced the Easter Midnight Mass outside the Orthodox Church Cathedral then you should !
Arrive early to stand near the Cathedral entrance - where the bishop and choir assemble
Also obtain a candle before attending
A 'sharing of the light' (brought all the way from Jerusalem) takes place at about 2350hrs - this shared from the bishops lamp from candle to candle - the light spreads throughout the crowd - and then the lights are illuminated at the same time as the message 'Christ is risen'
The liturgy/message is in Romanian - so take someone to interpret it if you can't speak the language
This is an impressive, moving event - whether you believe or not !
(We also saw the Catholic Church Easter procession that takes place about 2230hrs near to the Orthodox Cathedral - a procession of about 100 people through he streets carrying a crucifix and singing)

The views are so nice and the athmosphere was great. The food we had was ok, not great, but tasty. The serving was ok overall, but it could help some improvement.

Nice and comfortable place, good music and best relaxing massage! The House of body is situated right in the center of Galati City in a Business center - level 1 - at 3 minutes walking distance form Galati Centrum Hotel - right behind Danube Stars Hotel. Very good experience!

A monastery of nuns. Of course the place is full of flowers and it is well cared. I visited the place on a torrid heat but everything was green. Nuns take care of themselves, you will find apple orchard, a small lake, vegetable Gardens, a vineyard. But what you'll find most is Peace. A place to relax your soul.
Tips: Here you can buy delicious vegetables, jams, zacusca - a kind of vegetable stew, etc.
