Visitors (and city residents) can enjoy a walk along the river that runs through the city. The view from one of the Bridges to the river and its small Waterfalls that look like wet stairs and offer hospitality to geese, ducks, etc., , is an escape from reality.

Last weekend we had a very good time at Vigla! The kids got a ski instructor whom they loved, while we were having a hot cup of coffee inside. You could also have sth to eat, but we didn.t try anything. The place could do with a good cleaning hand!!!

Zazari is simply too beautiful. It is the smallest and most picturesque of a four-lake complex (from largest to smallest: Vegoritida, Petron, Chimaditida and Zazari). A small, quiet village, 'Limnochori', lies on its north coast. There are two hotels, one in the village and the other on the opposite side of the lake. The first is open all year round and is stopping there for a coffee by the side of the lake.
There are many recreational sports to be done there including jogging and cycling around the lake, canoeing, horse riding, climbing and 4x4 expeditions. Search for a local sports club named 'Artemis', they will help you out with anything. It is a family-run club and the people are warm and welcoming.
I would definitely go again.

Walking to the top of this hill was a highlight of my time in Florina. The woods are beautiful and thick and to be honest it's hard going at times, but boy are you rewarded when you get to the top. Wow! What a marvellous view of Florina and the surrounding hills. Do it!

για τις λίγες ώρες παραμονής μου στην αδιάφορη πόλη της Φλώρινας αποφάσισα να ξεκουραστώ λίγη ώρα για ένα ζεστό ρόφημα. Σχετικά ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα, λίγο κουρασμένο προσωπικό, σχετικά ακριβό χωρίς κάτι το ιδιαίτερο, τουλάχιστον μου προσέφερε λίγες στιγμές ξεκούρασης και απομόνωσης !
