Whether you are a beginner or advanced kitesurfer, this place is for you!
Nya, Hayder and the all team are fantastic. Very professional and friendly. The equipment is modern and of very good quality.
You can also enjoy hot beverages and a good meal at the family bar on the spot, and you will really appreciate it after several hours spent in the water!
Accomodation can also be arranged at the Casa Kite, and Dona Lilia will make your stay unforgettable!
I live in Cali (only 1,5 hours away) and go there every other week. I highly recommend the place! And the best is, there is wind year-round!

I cant recommend cogua kiteboarding enough. The guys are all very friendly and have great tips to get u up and going. Not only are they great instructors they help you with transport and give u a great overview on where to eat and go in town in your down time. if you really get into it they also make boards with whatever design you want, pretty cool. I highly recommend the school and lake calima

This is a must when visiting southern Colombia. Lake Calima is absolutely stunning. You can enjoy a well done Sancocho or fish while enjoying the beautiful views of the lake.

I have taken lessons in Spain, US and Mexico but it was here in the beautiful lake of Calima with the instructor Daniel that I finally learned how to Kitesurf like a pro. The combination of quality lessons from the school with the daily wind conditions here make this an ideal kiteboarding paradise to learn, improve or become a pro.

We thought we would stay only 2 nights and we ended up staying 2 weeks. We stayed in tent which had a lovely comfortable mattress and clean sheets. They had facilities to cook which was really great and the price was really very good I thought for both lessons and accommodation. It was 45,000 a night for the tent if you where doing lessons or renting gear and it was a lovely temperature in the hanger.
The instructors where great for lessons and it's definitely the best place you could possibly learn how to kitesurf and really safe as they have a boat which essentially will follow you around and also the instructor is very hands on.
I couldn't say enough of good things about the place and I progressed so quickly here that I can do it on my own now and I am very confident. We would definitely come back.
We used to hitch a lift or you can arrange a tuc tuc in the evening to bring you back up for 12 -15,000 and Darien the village is very nice it felt like we were the only tourists there and the locals where extremely friendly.
Just a fantastic place. Oh they have private rooms and the only improvement I would make is to put in hot showers other than that I couldn't fault the place.
Oh it also has a fantastic chill out area which makes the place and the view is amazing.
