Lory State Park

Reviewed By BethB02 - Fort Collins, United States

There is beauty all over Lory State Park. We were there most recently after a fairly rainy June. There were neat wildflowers and great trails. We ate on the southern end overlooking the reservoir. My family did 5 miles around on the valley hikes. The kids were so psyched that they can't wait to return in a couple weeks to do Arthur's Rock! There are trails for all levels of hikers as well as mountain bikes and horses. Be aware of the rules for each trail with dogs, etc. It is mountain lion country. The visitor's center is at the entrance, and there is an $8 fee per car.
