Alaminos, officially the City of Alaminos, (Pangasinan: Siyudad na Alaminos; Ilokano: Siudad ti Alaminos; Tagalog: Lungsod ng Alaminos), is a city in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines, and is known for being the home of the Hundred Islands National Park, which is composed of 124 islands and is located off the coast of Barangay Lucap. Alaminos is classified as a 4th class city. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 89,708 people. The city was named after Juan Alaminos y de Vivar, former Governor-General of the Philippines.

It is about 1.5 hours away from Dagupan City. It is still kilometers away from the main road of Alaminos City. But it is worth the ride.
Kids love it. Just look for "not-so-deep" spots of the beach area.
Since we came during a holiday and peak season, the cottage prices range from P500 to P1,000. You can ask the cottage owners for assistance in cooking. We too used their shower room, rest room, and water supply for preparing the food. There are a few sari-sari store where you can buy some small stuff (i.e. soda, condiments).
We saw some put-up a tent. Others opted to stay overnight.

The cave is nothing special, but the Islands itself has an interesting appeal for those who like abandoned places. Good thing is most of the abandoned constructions where made of bamboo so they'll go back into nature sooner or later.
It feels sad to see that the park authority decided to phase out the bamboo constructions and opted for ugly cement constructions.
This being said it's a nice place to take photos or just to visit if your childhood was filled with Jules Verne's shipwrecks and lost at sea stories.

You can see the church that is old based on its structure but when you get inside it's very beautiful. The church might have surpass many decades but the church is well maintained. I have noticed that when ever the locals pass by the church they make sign of the cross, that shows that they are as well preserving the religion.

We were on our way to Bolinao Beach to witness the best sunset when locals said that this place is currently the newest craze in town. So we headed to Burgos to see and experience it ourselves. Since we came during a holiday, the place was too crowded. The best time to go here if you want to avoid photobombers is on weekdays and definitely that doesn't fall on a holiday. The water's current is so scary as it fills the deep hole in a crater-shaped coral stone. Good thing they have lifeguards on post that keeps on reminding people to avoid swimming on the dangerous side. I didn't actually enjoyed my visit here due to the crowd but my husband did... I will definitely come back when it's not peak season.
