I booked with Wayne & Shakeira when I had some time to spare before my ferry to Bequia. Very glad I took this opportunity to have them show me some of the beautiful sites of St Vincent. I loved it so much, I booked them again on my return trip to St Vincent to go to the Owia Salt Pond. Highly recommend Wayne & Shakeira! They are dedicated, professional, and experienced tour guides.

Botanical Gardens

The Botanical Gardens are one of the most important and popular sites in St Vincent. They are the oldest botanical gardens in the Western Hemisphere (established in 1765) and are also an important conservation site (particularly for the St Vincent parrot). The Botanical Gardens are in Kingstown, a short journey from the town centre.

The perfect finish to an island tour, with superb views back over Kingstown and the surrounding area, as well as our cruise ship. The fort has been pretty well maintained, and is free to enter.

Barefoot Yacht Charters

St Vincent’s premier and longest-established bareboat yacht charter company, is owned and operated by the Barnard family who have been sailing the waters of the Grenadines for 7 generations. This background gives us the distinct and unusual advantage of insight and local knowledge that most charter companies, no matter how experienced, simply cannot offer.

Wallilabou

This small village sits next to a gorgeous bay.

The drive to wallilabou takes approximately 1hour 20 minutes from Kingstown cruise ship terminal. The scenery in St Vincent is quite spectacular and was a extremely pleasant surprise! Our driver was very knowledgeable about the island and took time to stop at intervals so we could take pictures of the breathtaking scenery.on arrival at wallilabou you enter a green gate leading down to a narrow lane and less than a minute you are looking at some buildings which were adapted for the movie, let's say in a poor state and in need of restorations. Within the main building contained props for the movie and several stills of the main characters....Johnny depp and co stars, there are also unused footage or takes in reels on the floor which I believe should be put into a glass cabinet or something similar, There is a lovely bay and a small beach which is great for photos. Also there is a bar/ restaurant with wifi and the local beer I can recommend! Overall I would recommend if you're in st Vincent do visit wallilabou and take in the sites you will not be disappointed !
