It is located in what used to be the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the Etelä-Savo region. Drop by Santa's summer cottage and listen to who is being naughty or nice. This is especially nice for the children, and they can meet some animals and try out some workshops. Otherwise there is a good restaurant there which serves traditional foods made with local ingredients. Also a lot of locally produced goods and foods which are often handcrafted can be found in the many small shops there. I think there is a little bit for everyone here, come by alone, with your partner or whith the whole family and have a little cultural experience and try out some treats while you are at it.
