We just arrived from our two week vacation and this was one of the highlights of our trip. We were looking forward to it and we were not disappointed. We happened to be the only people on this tour so we had Serena’s undivided attention! She is so down to earth, very informative and made us appreciate Bolgheri and the region’s wines even more. The grounds were immaculate and she was generous with the tastings (I lost count) that was paired with bread and their amazing olive oil. We prefer red over white but both were so good we bought several bottles of both. I researched a while before deciding on Terre del Marchesato and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you Serena! It starts with a scenic drive to the Chiappini Winery. The modern winery was built in 2014 and looks like it is brand new. The tasting room and views are breath-taking. A circular stairway can take you up to the crow's nest that provides views of the vineyard or take the steps downstairs to the state of the art wine making processes. The wine is delicious and they will ship it to you, so you don't have to lug it home, but don't forget to get a few bottles to enjoy while you are on vacation. I highly recommend the Chiappini Winery!

This is my second time visiting Caccia al Piano for Winetasting including local produce like ham, cheese and bread. The staff is very friendly and have a real passion for what they do! You fee like you have been invited to someone’s home! I have visited many wineries in the area and only a few manage to combine the wine tasting, wine knowledge and a real personal touch like Caterina at Caccia al Piano! A truly great experience! We will come back with more friends & family!
