7 Things to do Good for Big Groups in Benicasim That You Shouldn't Miss

January 12, 2022 Frederic Celentano

Benicàssim (Valencian pronunciation: [beniˈkasim], Spanish: Benicasim, Arabic: بنو قاسم‎ according to numismatic findings) is a municipality and beach resort located in the province of Castelló, on the Costa del Azahar in Spain. The Desert de les Palmes mountain range further inland shelters the town from the north wind. The name is derived from the Banu Qasim tribe, a segment of the Kutama Berbers that settled the area during the 8th century Moorish conquest of Spain.

The Via Verde Green Route

It's a scenic and beautiful walk/ride on the path of an old railway. Very flat and enjoyable, full of locals.

Did this walk from Benicassim to Oropesa & back. It's a lovely flat walk with great views. Not much seemed open near the end at Orepesa, probably because it is out of season.

Have just been 12/2/20 ,opened at 3 pm a nice lady arrived took our fee of 3.5 euros ( absolute bargain) and the gave us our tour which which culminated in an excellent tasting experience and a visit to the shop to buy the produce just tasted lots of bottles very reasonably priced if in area well worth the visit . Benicasim a place of history and a touch of class only slightly cheapened by the big blocks of flats
