Innerverse Float Centre

Floating involves lying in a salt-water solution in a specially designed tank (often referred to as a float tank, sensory deprivation tank, or isolation tank). The float tanks give you and your mind a chance to enter a state of peace and quiet. Fantastic for post-training body recovery and relaxation.

Me amd my boyfriend have been in Chuan day spa for his birthday today and everything was an absolute pleasure, from start to finish! The staff was lovely and they treated us beautifully. The treatment was so relaxing, our therapists definitely satisfied our requests and I felt so good, like a piece of butter! They also gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco for the occasion. Then we went to the facilities, nothing to say..just wonderful! Amazing relaxing area too and amazing view. And at last but not least, our afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches was delicious, with complimentary birthday cupcake and glass of wine. As an experienced spa therapist, I rate this 10/10! Will definitely come back!

I have recently stayed at the Crown Metropole and whilst there I made the most of this stunning Spa facility. On my first day I had a deep tissue massage and Himalayan salt exfoliation and because the spa was so busy and booked up I ended up, by default, in the indulgence suite and OMG...it is very indulgent indeed. I would highly recommend it especially for a couples experience. Both treatments were excellent and administered by their most experienced massage therapist (Jody) and she was brilliant. I returned for a spray tan later the same day and the results were good. I made the most of the Aqua Retreat as well and was lucky enough to have it to myself. The very large spa-pool was reminiscent of a Roman bath house I thought. Before and in between treatments you recline blissfullly in a lovely lounge area with tea, water, snacks and magazines and this was also an enjoyable and relaxing part of the experience. I returned the following day for the Soothe and Rejuvenate anti-oxidant facial which was gorgeous and again, with an amazing therapist. I then had a hair colour treatment booked but we had to improvise as the treatment was going to take a lot longer than I had anticipated and the stylist (Primrose) handled this with great professionalism and good grace and was lovely and I departed with a very nice blow-wave/style. I do think it is probably worth (for the hair treatments) stating the time (as they do with the other treatments such as massages, facials etc) to avoid this sort of confusion in future as I had allowed for the time it takes my own hair-dresser to do a colour but the salon at Crown Spa had a different system in place (quite possibly a better one) where their own protocols/procedures for a colour (foils in this case) took longer than I was used to.
