This Temple is situated at a distance of about 20 kms from sivagangai bus stand. This Temple is famous for the Sornakaaleeswarar sannithi.. The British army could not catch the Maruthu brothers. To catch them, the British threatend to demolish the temple Gopuram of this Temple..
