The Gomel State Circus was opened on December 2, 1972. The futuristic silhouette of its building, located in the heart of the city, has since become one of the recognizable symbols of Gomel. In 2006, new attractions appeared near the circus building — a fountain with dynamic lighting and a monument to the famous Soviet clown Pencil (M. N. Rumyantsev). The circus auditorium is designed for 1504 seats. Each season, which runs from September to June, the circus alternates between six and seven programs. The programs are formed mainly from the performances of guest artists and groups. For touring artists and guests of the city, the circus has its own cozy hotel in the building next door.

I happened to attend the annual ceremony show in March 19, I have booked the tickets in advance it easier and faster the website can even be browsed in English. Its a great way to spend n evening in Minsk ! I personally love circus! I highly recommend to attend it !
