We as 7 members went for a trip to Visakhapatnam and we went this museum in the evening...This submarine museum is a delight to watch and country lovers might really be pretty happy to visit this..Those who see the Movie ''The Ghazi Attack "'...they can understand it better...

The Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Museum is known as the "Visakha Museum". An old Dutch bungalow turned into a museum was opened to the public in 1991. Located in front of the famous RK Puram beach of Visakhapatnam, this museum has preserved the combined heritage of Andhra and Kalinga. Though there is a lot to see here in the museum, apart from the weapons, paintings, manuscripts, coins, dress, jewellery, pots used by the former rulers of this region, but some things are displayed in the museum which you will be thrilled to see. The shell of the bomb that was dropped upon Visakhapatnam by Japan during World War II is still kept here. Models of Kalvari class, Sindhughosh class and other class submarines are also displayed in the museum. Models of naval combat airplanes and warships are also displayed in the museum. The vessel named SS Jal Usha which was built in Visakhapatnam was inaugurated by the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, in 1948, by breaking coconut, that coconut is still stored here. The largest tricolor of India is also kept in the museum. This museum gives you very interesting information about the history and culture of the Navy and Kalinga-Andhra region.

TU 142 Air Craft Museum

After 30 years of service, the Indian Navy's TU-142M aircraft has been decommissioned and converted into a museum and placed on the other side of Dr NTR Road in Visakhapatnam. TU-142 M aircraft is an antisubmarine fighter aircraft. TU 142 M Aircraft museum is a major tourist attraction, right in front of the Submarine Museum and near R.K Beach. This museum came into existence on 8 December 2017. One has to pass through an exhibition gallery before entering the aircraft, Various parts and equipments of the TU-142M aircraft are displayed in this gallery. Equipment like black box, pilot station, air bottle, oxygen tank, turbo generator, propeller, propeller hub, engine, sonobuoys, parachute, life raft, tyres etc. are displayed with the complete details of these parts of the aircraft and other equipments. You can watch the exhibition with an audio tour and then see this fighter aircraft from inside. The exhibition also depicts the aircraft through holography and detailed information about the aircraft crew. As soon as you enter the museum after taking the ticket, you are given a mobile with a headset and a magnetic tag is attached to your clothes. This headset mobile is only for adults, children get information only by reading. As soon as you enter the exhibition, the information about any part or equipment you want to get on the mobile screen is obtained by pressing the number of that device on the mobile screen. It takes 30-40 minutes to watch this exhibition with audio tour. Only then can you see the TU-142M aircraft from inside. Another attraction in the aircraft museum is virtual reality section. Virtual reality game section towards the exit of the museum is a great place for entertainment for both adults and children. If you go to Visakhapatnam, do not forget to visit the TU-142M Museum. It opens 7 days a week. Timings are Monday to Saturday 2pm to 8:30 pm and on Sunday 10am–12pm, 2–8:30pm.

The Coffee Museum in Araku Valley is a great place to drink coffee with friends and family, and also an encyclopedia with lively tableaux to explore the history of coffee. This describes the journey of coffee that started from Ethiopia to Europe and India through Chikmagalur in Karnataka, Nilgiri in Tamil Nadu and Araku Valley in Andhra Pradesh. The wide menu of the coffee house has different types of coffee options according to your choice and pocket. You can taste the amazing filter coffee for just forty rupees. The chocolate store here has many varieties of chocolates, coffee beans and coffee powder. Apart from the history of coffee and the coffee itself, there are also entertainment facilities like Bungee Trampoline, Water Balloon Ride, Columbus Ride, Joy Bull Ride, Shooting etc. While on one hand you can enjoy pani puri, dosa and paavabhaji on the portable stalls that give an ethnic look, on the other hand there is also an option of a pizza café to enjoy pizza, buns and cookies.

Araku Tribal Museum is just 200 m away from Araku Bus station and is on main highway towards Araku to Chaparai falls. Araku tribal museum is a nice place of Araku which explores tribal culture of Eastern Ghats. This Museum was established in February 1996 by Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation aimed to Preserve and display Tribal Culture. This Museum showcases tribal life style, which is show casing utensils made of Iron and Mud, wedding ceremony of Tribal. This museum showcased day in day out activities of tribal by Clay Monuments. Kitchen tools, Jewellery and Hunting tools of Tribal also showcased in this Museum Most interesting part of this museum is Dhimsa live dance perform by local Tribal at limited time slots. We saw at evening 4:30 pm. Don't miss it whenever you visit this Museum Attractions inside: 1. Tribal Handicrafts Stalls 2. Boating at 20 INR per person 3. Dhimsi Dance 4.
