Schnebly Hill Vista

The views from Schnebly Hill and the drive to it are AMAZING!!!! This is NOT a typical drive, it is very primitive. Highly recommend renting from one of the local ATV rentals vs using your own 4x4 truck like we did. If you use your own 4x4 will need high clearance. The scenery is absolutely worth making this kidney shaking drive (make sure you go to the bathroom prior to making this trek).

Drive to the top then climb around to your heart's desire. The drive itself is super fun and scenic too. It's very open with few if any barriers. Great place for a picnic and there are plenty of places you can climb to and be secluded!

Mingus Mountain Vista & Picnic Observation Point

Reviewed By 949cookieb - Kingman, United States

We've travel to this incredibly amazing 7,000'+ vista many times. Often packing a light picnic lunch to each at a nearby picnic table and other times just to cherish the superb view of the Cottonwood city vallen and Sedona's majestic mountains in the distance. It's always at least 15 degrees cooler than in lower Cottonwood and the cooler breeze through the Ponderosa Pines always soothes.

We went to the restaurant at Seven Canyons for dinner and then returned for lunch so we could see the view from the restaurant. Service was excellent both times. The view is incredible and it is easy to see why it is called the Seven Canyons as seven canyons do converge into this valley where the Seven Canyons Resort is located. We had steaks at dinner which were very well prepared. At lunch we had sandwiches were excellent. Just a short drive from Sedona.

This is a very good place to visit. It's proximity to Phoenix, Tucson, and Sedona is very good. For temperature and crowds late spring is the time to go.
