Reviewed By hdecockWe booked a twin deluxe room for a 1-night stay. We included dinner at the hotel. The room seemed fine when we got there, spacious though definitely not very modern (Wi-Fi was so slow it seemed absent, and all commodities are very outdated). Due to COVID-rules our dinner was served in the room (which is fine), during which we found a hair in the first course (carpaccio). The staff apologized and promptly served us a replacement. Apart from the hair, the carpaccio was alright, but the main courses were absolutely subpar. The food looked and tasted like college cafeteria food (overcooked, very salty, and small portions to boot). After dinner there was a short but intense rain shower outside, after which it became apparent one of the rain drainage pipes outside our room had a leak and was dripping on the little cover over our window, which somehow made an incredibly loud noise. When we informed the staff that the leakage was so loud we would not be able to sleep through it (I realize this sounds dramatic, but it was really very loud) they first told us there was nothing they could do. So we asked to switch rooms, to which the staff then agreed. We settled into our new room, only to find more hairs - this time in the shower. It was obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned. After several minutes reception called to ask if the room was okay. When I mentioned it was quiet alright, but now we found hair in the shower, we were snippily informed that we got a room upgrade to a more expensive room, and no reaction was given to the hair in the bathroom. The receptionist simply hung up the phone. If I were to run into 1 of these things in any hotel (1 hair in food, leakage at room, hair in the shower) I would give them the benefit of the doubt, these things can happen. However all 3 in one night, and the rude attitude towards us when we very politely informed them of a valid complaint, means I can only say we definitely did not get our money's worth of service and can only recommend to book a different establishment. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, which no doubt serve better food.

A very pleasant stay
Reviewed By vkayserWe have just enjoyed a few days in Limburg, staying at the Landhotel Alberts, A very welcoming family run hotel, with great attention being paid to the comfort of the guests. The hotel is modern and nicely decorated. We were impressed by the standards of cleanliness everywhere, and importantly in our room and bathroom. The beds were super comfortable with electric adjustment and our room opened onto a balcony so we could sit outside. Dinners at the hotel are very nice and the service is attentive and professional. We played golf early and could arrange breakfast packages with delicious rolls. The hotel implemented very visible and reassuring arrangements in view of the COVID situation and it made us feel very comfortable. We were very pleased with our choice. We will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and would love to be back.

Small-scale highest hotel in the Netherlands at 220 meters above NAP. Walking, cycling or motorcycling is all possible here in the hills of South Limburg.
The WORST hotel one can only find !
Reviewed By vlad vAwful! By far the worst hotel one can find in The Netherlands! Pay attention that all the reviews on Expedia etc are same wording and we know now - they are stagedm faked! Crazily greedy owners! - never saw things like that! We paid decent price, not cheap at all! Got the tiny room on the second floor with an awful dangerous staircase - one to break the neck and every bone when carrying the bags - no elevator! Noisy - from road 10 meters from the hotel and from every step in the room above! Their breakfast ends at 10 am and check out at 10 am. Beds are awful - got back pain in the night ! .Breakfast - cheap and limited, worth 3 euro at most, The owners are greedy and just interested to squeeze you out of few more coins. AVOID THIS PLACE at any cost! We so - too late unfortunately ! - so many hotels in the area which look nice! Don't do our mistake! DO NOT stay at that place - Hotel Heijenrath!

Reviewed By Sherpa25349367104Het hotel is value for money! Grote kamer. Goed ontbijt. Hygiënisch met een ruime badkamer en een vriendelijk familiebedrijf. Schuur voor je fietsen en genoeg restaurants in de buurt. Ideaal voor een korte fiets of wandelvakantie. Kamer iets gehorig.

Reviewed By dasucaFijn verblijf gehad hier, eenvoudige maar mooie kamer, nette badkamer en heel proper. Lekker ontbijt met verse producten. Vriendelijke uitbaters die nog niet lang deze b & b uitbaten maar ze doen het uitstekend.

Heel fijn verblijf gehad bij 't Plateau in juli
Reviewed By Carine vWij hebben met ons gezin, ouders en dochter van 20 jaar een heel prettig verblijf gehad in één van de appartementen van 't Plateau. Het huisje was schoon en gezellig ingericht, keuken was redelijk compleet. De bedden waren goed en de douche was heerlijk. Altijd plek om dicht bij je appartement te kunnen parkeren. Zeer vriendelijke gastheer en -gastvrouw. Kortom: zeker een aanrader voor een leuk verblijf in Zuidlimburg.

Een groot drama
Reviewed By MathildeJanVtoen we kwamen waren de eigenaren op vakantie werden wel vriendelijk verwelkomt maar ook deze meneer wist bv niet waar we fietsen konden huren. Er bleek veel lawaai te zijn waardoor we 2 nachten bijna niet hebben geslapen, Na 3 dagen hebben we de handdoek in de ring gegooid. Gelijk een klacht mondeling en via mail ingediend, De klachten werden niet gehonoreerd en we kregen voor de verloren dagen het bedrag niet meer terug. Ik zal deze appartementen niet aanbevelen.
