Visited the farm with my husband and 18/22 year old daughters. I love gardening but them, not so much. I was delighted that they thoroughly enjoyed the tour. No sales pitch, no targeted marketing, just the facts of what they do. Loved it. AND, it was FREE! We learned/heard about so much more than just Noni. It was a truly enjoyable few hours and we would do it again. My youngest has severe scalp psoriasis and we have tried so many things thru our dermatologist with no relief. So, when we saw the info on this condition we knew we would give it a try. After only 2 (YES 2) days of applying the Noni lotion to her affected areas, we could visibly see it diminishing. And, her mild acne is cleared. I am planning (with her permission) to post pics before/after once she has used it a while. Its only been 2 weeks of use to date. Mahalo Steve for sharing your passion and beautiful farm!

It was hard (for me) to find where to turn into the gardens, but once we embarked on our tour it was well worth the effort. Informative and engaging tour guide, loved the fact that the property is self-sustaining, and we all appreciated the abundant, life-like bronze sculptures by a wide variety of artists. Highly recommend.

One of our favorite days in Kauai - what a great tour. We loved meeting the goats (including a couple of baby goats), learning about all the fruit trees (and trying some samples!) and the cheese-making process, and - especially - getting to taste all the varieties of cheese. What a lovely family farm!

Wai Koa Loop

The Wai Koa Loop Trail is a great safe 4.5 mile hiking trail on the beautiful North Shore of Kauai. You can access this hike at Anaina Hou Community Park in Kilauea. The hike is free but is on private property, so please stop in at Anaina Hou to sign a waiver, pick up a map, and purchase water, sunblock, lunch or ono snacks to take with you on this fun-filled adventure! On the hike, you’ll pass through the Kilauea Forest and then the largest mahogany plantation in North America. Then, the trail opens up and you’ll enjoy impressive views of the Namahana Mountains. The top of this loop trail takes you to the must-see historic Stone Dam (closed for renovations). It was built in the 1880’s to support the Kilauea Sugarcane Plantation and is a great place for a picnic or to enjoy a swim. The Trail is open to the public from 8:00 am to dusk and takes between 2.5 to 4 hours. A waver must be on file at Anaina Hou before you enjoy the Trail.

been here 7 times prior, since the mid ‘90’s. best advise: start early, around 10am. the reason i mention this is that parts of the trail is sunny n very hot. don’t forget to check in at the mini golf place or the trail hut, if it is open. this is for liability reasons, due to the fact that the trail is on private farming property. you will see beautiful views of the mountains, horses, cattle, ponds, and of course farming structures. not for those who want a challenge. this is for a quiet, meditative walk (that one gets away from the ‘trail’ crowds”-just to put it....calming:) they did some diversions, which by the way, are well done, due to the flood of April 2018. the dam area is closed n being repaired but the “detour paths” are fine. what a delight to take a walk/stroll among 86,000 mahogany trees, the largest of these forests in the USA n one of the largest in the world. terrain is flat except for the first 10 minutes but very easy. i highly recommend the site:) PS make sure you have water with you, as it is a 4 mile hike n takes about 2 hrs-leisurely. i wouldn’t recommend flip-flops. ALOHA~
