I decided that I would rent a bike during our Topsail vacation instead of bringing my own bike as I had done in previous years. The staff was very helpful when I called from home to ask about rentals and also when I picked up and returned the bike. I rented a 3-speed Sun beach cruiser for 3 days. It was a fun bike to ride and, after the 3 days were up, I extended the rental for the rest of the week. The only problem I had was a flat tire when I was about a mile away from where we were staying. I walked the bike back to the house and called Herring's and told them about the flat. In about 20 minutes they were out with a replacement bike! This was really great service.
