This was our first experience visiting the Alsace Wine Route. We decided to visit Cave de Turckheim as it was in a location outside of the villages that seem to attract most tourists. We had a pleasant wine tasting experience and although we are not wine connoisseurs, we found the wines to be excellent. As an added bonus, after leaving the Cave de Turkheim, the road north took us through beautiful vineyards that further added to the pleasure of our experience along the Alsace Wine Route.

A beautiful entrance to Turckheim, a picturesque village in the Alsace wine region. Incredible to see complete towers. A big bonus that visitor have to park outside the village, so you can get some lovely photos.

Lovely small church with a surprising interior. I loved the light and pretty interior and feel it melds well with the pretty, colourful village.
