Cape Canaveral and the neighboring Kennedy Space Center have become synonymous with space travel in the U.S. The first phases of the U.S. space program were conducted at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, now a historic landmark and home to the Air Force Space and Missile Museum, before operations were moved to Kennedy. In addition to its Space Coast reputation, Canaveral also boasts the historic Cape Canaveral Lighthouse, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore.

Located in historical Cape Canaveral Florida, Florida Beer Company is Florida's leading craft brewery. A true pioneer in the craft beer industry, Florida Beer Company has been operating in Brevard County Florida since 1997. In 2005 we merged Indian River Brewery of Melbourne, FL, Ybor City Brewing of Tampa, FL, Key West Brewery of Key West and Miami Brewing of Miami FL into what today is Florida Beer Company. The brewery is minutes away from the all cruise terminals at Port Canaveral and easily accessible by a short bus or taxi ride. Our Visitor Center and Tap Room provides an opportunity to see our brewery in operation. A wonderful establishment that gives back to the community. Thank you for the donations to the raffle basket for the Beachside Little League. Without hesitation, I was given items from the store to add to my raffle basket by a kind and generous man. Also- please stop next door to Cocoa Beach Aerial Adventures, they are also a five star establishment that gives back to the community all while providing a great place for kids and adults to release some energy!

Canaveral Lock

It is hit or miss there as far as seeing wildlife, but certainly worth a look. After all, this is nature, not SeaWorld. We love going to the locks when we visit the Port for lunch or an early dinner. It is a very interesting place even when you don't see much as far as creatures. Just watching the locks open and close is amazing! Probably been there 25 times and have seen, dolphin, manatees, snook, white pelicans, turtles, tons of bait fish with pelicans in hot pursuit and saw a great blue heron catch a snack. Worth a visit! Enjoy!
