Beautifully crystal clear lake which reflects mountain images in good weather...Lago do Federa located just outside Cortina is perfect for a roadside picnic or nature walk.

We are a couple in our 50s, in reasonable shape, and this was a good, moderate hike (5.5 hrs return including lunch) with some scary Via Ferrata bits (we are both afraid of heights). Well worth the courage we needed to muster up as the views up and down are breathtaking and the lake is a spectacular payoff. And the wildflowers at this time of year were amazing!
