Very happy with our stay

Excellent service topped the bill at this guest house, as well as being provided with a good breakfast, cooked to order. We had mountain bikes with us and they were more than happy to store them in a downstairs room for us to keep them safe. Very good choice for a family stay.

Andelomi Nature’s Rest

Service, room size and Alcohol

Reviewed By Mago1423

The staff are hands down one of the friendliest I've come across, they were always willing to assist. We initially booked an 18 square meter room, but we're upgraded to a 36 square meter room at no extra cost. Something the receptionist taught me. Always book a room that is above 30 square meters. Never really looked at that, but going forward I will. That just made my stay even better. The rooms are neat and spacious and has more than enough blankets and heaters to keep warm during the winter days. We have absolutely no complaints about the staff, the room and the service. The breakfast is also really amazing. From muffins on the table to cereals, cold meats, savouries, bobotie quiche - little bight sized and tasty, charcoal bread, different cheeses, bacon, eggs and few other buffet options to choose from. Really impressed with the breakfast. The only downside to our stay..... We were a couple on honeymoon with our first time away from our babies (triplets) who were born in December 2022. We had everything meticulously planned in order to make the most of our one day away.... Because that's all you get when you have triplets... One afternoon away and one night... ??? After setting the braai up, we were advised no alcohol can be brought onto the premises and no alcohol can be consumed in the room if it hasn't been purchased at the bar. I think we drove 2 and a half hours from Port Elizabeth extremely excited for our time away and then boom.... Your bubble is burst with words like that lol... Please consider changing this rule, or please explicitly highlight this on your booking platforms. It is one very important notice to actually flash in people's faces when they considering booking accommodation at Andelomi.

Upon arrival you are greeted by such incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. This hidden gem is definitely value for money. A bar on the premises offers cocktails by the pool side. A boma fire pit allowed for a quaint private braai. Breakfast was delicious! A relaxed and family friendly place to stay.
