Our favourite place! Lots to do. Parks, walks, surf, coffee, wander in to Cronulla and browse the shops. We always take visitors along when they come!

North Cronulla Beach

My favourite beach in Sydney, ideal for swimming and coast walking. Compare to Bondi, it is less populated but more beautiful and tranquil

Shelly Beach RockPool

Reviewed By mrdom

It's got a big park behind the rocks and the big pool (could be deeper) but a bit away from the more crowded parts of Cronulla. This whole coast has a good path along it (particularly good because bikes aren't allowed) and Oak Park further south is even nicer (except for a shallower pool) plus there's good snorkelling further along at Salmon Haul Bay. A real Sydney gem that I wish I'd discovered earlier.

Jibbon Beach

Reviewed By C7557UCtimw - Marrickville, Australia

Lovely protected beach (except if a strong westerly is blowing). Gentle surf, and perfect for swimming. Along the beach to the east will take you to the Aboriginal rock engravings which are amazing, and to Little Jibbon Beach which is a small nudist beach close to the track. If you have time it's definitely worth walking the Jibbon Loop Trail.
