We were a group of eight and they greeted us at the boat with beers and rum punch - best way to start out the trip with smiles, a beautiful sunset and an amazing crew! Mario and Chris dropped us directly at our resort (Mahogany Bay Resort) and assisted with all our bags. It took about an hour and 20 minutes from dock to dock and they made it all so easy! Highly recommend booking with them if you are a group looking or even just you and a friend/partner/spouse. Very affordable and enjoyable! Will definitely be using them again!

JETTS Shuttle Belize was good in all respects beginning with the 6-hour transfer from Playa del Carmen to Belize City. The drive seemed effortless and time passed quickly. The Mexican driver, Juan, engaged in interesting English conversation. Josh took over at the border of Mexico and Belize. He escorted me through the Mexican and Belizean officials we were then on our way. He detailed a number of tours of which I could avail myself. I chose the Atun ha Mayan temple and the City tour. While Josh drove both times, he nonetheless used the expertise of his guides, Ann Marie and Tara. Both women were provided excellent tours and possessed the knowledge to conduct the tour and answer my specific inquiries. Josh was most personable. In particular, I appreciated the value he displayed towards his customers, staff and family. I would strongly recommend JETS Shuttle to anyone visiting Belize.

We used Belize International for our airport arrival from Mexico to avoid the long layovers in Guatemala. We arrived late (2:45pm) and needed transfer to Tikal. Car rental is not recommended for many reasons. We chose BASS. Dwight was a pleasure to deal with via email and made all of the arrangements. He told us exactly how we would be met at the airport (sign) and then driven to the border. The drivers would then help us change cars and move us through the border crossing and then on to Tikal. It was flawless. Our Belize-side driver was Cameron. Ask for him. He is very engaging and knowledgeable about Belize. He made the 2+ hour trip very engaging and enjoyable. Our Guatemala-side driver was equally good. Highly recommend BASS. they can also arrange tours in Belize or Guatemala. We did not use them for Tikal (Use Gem Tours - ask for Jose Moreno as your guide)
