Reviewed By Jayho70Very average on everything, so don’t visit in week 29 where the room rate have been increased with min. 50% There were some tables and chairs just outside the reception to enjoy the sun, but the whole area was smelling from the sewer. Average rooms and breakfast - ok-ish to normal rate I would guess, but not one cent more.

Motel Ebeltoft is a newly opened motel with all the facilities you can desire. Situated only 8 kilometers from Aarhus airport and only 8 kilometers from the ferry to Sealand. It is as central as can be. All rooms are well equipped and free wireless internet available for all guests. Ebeltoft is a wonderful little city with sandy beaches, many attractions, most of them focused on children.
Shocking customer service
Reviewed By Soren WWe arrived as advised in our email/ booking at 1900. We did not get any code for the box with key, nor anything to allow us to get inside. Our luck was that another guest let us in. We then tried to call the number provided at the reception and also emailed the hotel. We even looked up who owned the hotel to try and find an alternative number as no one was answering. Waiting 10, 15 maybe as long as 20 min is acceptable, but we waited 45 min!!! When the guy came down to serve us it was without any apology or anything- just a quick "oh I saw your email, I guess I better get you guys a key". Shocked of the lack of attempt to offer some kind of compensation or appology I was direct enough to ask if it would not be fair with some kind of compensation- to which we just got "no, you will pay full price". We then wanted to check if breakfast was okay at 0700, and we got told that in the high season breakfast is not served before 0800. There was no suggestion for any take away breakfast or anything... the guy just left as if we had been a pain for him. In our room there was just one lonely tea bag and rarely have we felt so low. Well motel ebeltoft, it was not a pleasure and we will not be a pain for you again and our company will find another place going forward. Shocking is almost a compliment! Det var pinligt!!!!

Good value for money and helpful owner
Reviewed By Päivi LI walked from Kliplev to Flensburg and wanted to stay somewhere along the road and this is exactly what Lyren is, right by the road. It is a quite simple motel but has everything you need for a good nights sleep. My room was clean, all electricity worked, the bed was big, the room quite small if you are two people. I had made a mistake with my checkin and had to call the owner late inte the evening. He was more then kind and we sorted out my booking and payment. Extra thanks for this flexibility and kindness.

In onze Deense woonboerderij zijn er 4 appartementen gehuisvest en 3 B&B kamers. Buiten in onze prachtige tuin hebben we een trekkershut voor 4 personen en een mini-camping die plaats biedt aan in totaal 8 tentjes/caravans/campers. Esther and Ramon are the nicest hosts ever and make you feel like at home. We have definitely found our place to stay over and over again when visiting family in Jylland?

Location: Hotel Varde is located in the outskirts of Varde in a nice and quiet area. Varde contains several attractions such as Mini Byen Varde (Varde city as a miniature model), Varde Museum, Varde Footballgolf, Nysoe (a local lake with good swimming opportunities for everyone) and Varde Golf club. In Varde’s surrounding area, some of Denmark’s best beaches are situated in Blaavand, Vejers and Henne. Furthermore the Hotel has a very practical location only 15 km from Esbjerg and 40 km from Billund Airport, where the famous amusement park Legoland also is situated. Hotel facilities: Hotel Varde has a very enjoyable restaurant where a lovely breakfast buffet (included in the price) is served. Furthermore a Danish inspired dish of the day is served from Monday to Thursday. The restaurant also offers a packed launch for the trip or for the long day at work. At the Hotel there is a lovely little park with tables and benches, where it is possible to borrow a grill. In the park, children can play and dogs can be exercised under supervision of an adult. It is possible to do your laundry at the hotel. There is free parking and WI-FI. The hotel has a large modernised conference room, which is available for hire. Hotel rooms: At Hotel Varde it is always possible to get a night in one of our 44 lovely rooms. Many of the rooms have a kitchenette fully equipped for meal preparation. All rooms have its own bathroom and have large flatscreen TV’s. Housekeeping is offered everyday where the beds are made, the towels are changed and other matters are provided for.

Reviewed By Ray HMore of a Motel than a Hotel it was okay for a stopover room was more basic than comfortable however it was clean and warm.Ideal if travelling by car as you can park directly outside your room.Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary not alot of choices but okay.Good enough for one night wouldn`t bother again.
