We would like to present you the fully recently renovated SUNRISE RESORT HOTEL, which is located at the NW side of Lesvos Island in Greece. Reviewed By Beverley196534Had a fantastic time at this hotel , was greeted warmly, bags carried up to our rooms which were lovely and clean , all staff and helpful, apologies for not rembering all staff names , Vanula who ran the poolside bar as well as helping in the restaurant, catered to all our needs , and did it with enthusiasm and politeness, a credit to her employers also like Elini who was a young girl very polite and helpful , and Manolis the bar manager , well he excels at his job keeps the bar clean and well stocked and very sociable , the only niggle was the evening meal which was not very warm maybe more heat needed on the buffet serving station , but it won’t stop us returning next year

Reviewed By goranl893I enjoyed my stay here and it was a lovely experience. The staff was very helpful. The view of the Turkish coast is amazing. The hotel has outdoor and indoor pools. The room was clean and large with a terrace and sea views. The food was delicious and varied. The hotel is nicely decorated surrounded by palm trees and close to the old town and the Molivos castle.

Reviewed By Swedishfoodie11Hotel offers free bus ride to Molivos city and back (around 5 minutes ride) several times per day. Free and quality sunbeds and nice pool. Own restaurant and local and homemade products in there. Room were cleaned everyday. Staff made the stay were pleasant because they were helpful and tried their best to make guests stay as nice as possible.

Terrible service
Reviewed By Lakis GWe arrived in July 2015, and booked 2 rooms for my wife and parents. The hotel advised they could provide an ironing service and we therefore went with them as we had a Christening nearby in Molyvos. When we called to ask for 2 - 3 items of clothing to be ironed, we were told that their ironing service had ended early on that day. (So much for making your service available at the times you say it will be). No apology was offered, it was like it was nothing unusual. Just paid for a service we can't use that's all. No big deal according to Eftalou staff. We were lucky enough to find a local who lent us an iron which we tried to use in the room but the power point just fell right out. The hotel service therefore called their electrician who further delayed us in coming out. The hotel again did not apologise. We also tried their breakfast and it was very basic, and the butter was past its expiration date so we couldn't really enjoy a proper breakfast. The TV had no remote control, and it was a very small basic tv of which most channels wouldn't work. We certainly never felt 'welcomed' or that we were valued paying customers. Hotel needs an update, everything seemed old and worn out, but the main issue for us was the poor service.

"Peaceful retreat"
Reviewed By Simon DOn my way to the hotel from the airport and on leaving Molyvos heading out on the coast road I began to wonder if I had made the right choice! Driving past some super looking places we came almost to the end of the road and the hotel is on the right set back but right in front of the sea, immediately the tranquility of the place hit me, its a charming hotel showing signs of age but this should not deter anyone from staying. Ample car parking spaces, massive sea water pool which is fabulous. Large open reception areas rarely used. The rooms were of a good size, very clean and amazingly comfortable beds, really nice bathrooms and shower. The staff during my three week stay were so friendly and could not do enough for you. The beach is right in front of the hotel but a short walk brings you to a long section of stoney coves, very quiet and amazing for swimming & snorkeling. Two tavernas very close to the hotel, the nearest one is superb about 50m away, the other one is on the hillside on the beach with great views. The hotel rarely got busy and often I was on my own at the pool. You can walk into Molyvos, it takes about 40 minutes buts its a superb walk, good bus service from just outside the taverna running into Molyvos then Petra and finally into Anaxos, plenty of taxis available. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely unspoilt hotel, the location and above all the peace and quiet.
