Reviewed By jbfebrilletThis was a very good choice for my trip. It was a bit far from the city but I didn’t mind the drive. Very clean and safe. There was food but I didn’t have a chance to retry it. The check in was very smooth as well as the check out.

It just keeps getting worse and worse.
Reviewed By Pete RFor a long time this was our home away from home. But the hotel just keeps getting worse and worse. Prices are up but no longer is there daily cleaning, no longer is there a happy hour, no longer is there a decent breakfast. The fitness center is falling apart.

We are surrounded by gas and oil from the Marcellus Shale as well as being a technology and pharmaceutical hub. The Southpointe Business Park is home to Consol Energy, Halliburton, Ansys, Mylan, EQT, Schlumberger, Siemens, Crown Castle, Ness, Auma Actuators, Range Resources, and many more. The Holiday Inn Express Southpointe is within walking distance of Towne Center Shopping Center which includes restaurants and shops. It includes upscale restaurants such as Toscana Brick Oven and Saga Japanese Steakhouse. The Holiday Inn Express Southpointe is easily accessible from I-79. The hotel is just a few miles from Meadows Casino and Racetrack, Tanger Outlets, and Washington County Fairgrounds.

Reviewed By Phil-KathyYarriWhen we walked into our room, #108, on Thursday, April 14, we noticed the tile floor was sticky/tacky as we walked on it. We contacted the maintenance man and asked him if he could wipe the floor up. When I went into the bathroom, I noticed a couple of ants crawling on the floor. I stepped on them. We were staying at the hotel for an internment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, so we were gone all day on Friday, April 15, for that. We got back to our room after dinner and got ready for bed. I woke up around 1 a.m. to go to the bathroom. I always keep a flash light on the night table next to my bed. It was full of ants. There were ants on my reading book and also all over my CPAP machine. Needless to say, I could not go back to sleep. I sat in the chair to read and an ant crawled across my glasses. We left the hotel at about 4 a.m. There was no one at the front desk when we left to mention it to. I did not realize you needed to let someone know if you wanted maid service so we did not get it. You really need to have maid service come in every day, if not only to remove the trash. We did not eat in the room, but the people that stayed in the room before us might have.

Beautiful, upscale type hotel that doesn’t break the bank
Reviewed By Number1ReviewerMy wife and I decided to stay here on our road trip and this was a great place to visit. The hotel is beautiful and has a ritzy feel. But the price is actually competitive with other chains in the area. It’s in a quiet area about a mile off the interstate. The only complaint I have is that it’s a bit of a challenge to get here from I-79. But we would definitely stay here again
