A Gem tucked away in Wilderness...
Reviewed By kkkarthiiiMe, my partner and my Sister along with our 2 Dogs visited this amazing property nestled in Panchgani with a great view of the Valley. We opted to stay in the tent which was spacious, very clean and opened up to a beautiful view. The stay was very private and felt really safe! We had a great bonfire at night to shake away the chills, our caretaker Mr. Tushar lives with his family in the property itself and is very helpful, his wife is the chef in the property and dishes out delicious food. And now the main highlight of our stay in Umbrella Inn, the owner, Sufiyan... He is one of the best hosts that we have ever met. He was always there smiling and ready to help us out with anything 24×7... Sufiyan is very well versed with the entire area and always gives great tips on where to visit and eat. A great person to have a wonderful conversation with, we came as guests but left Umbrella Inn as friends!

Reviewed By rahulbelekarWe had booked this place for 2 nights. On the name of deluxe rooms we were provided with shabby unhygienic rooms. I was travelling with my family and kids… Stay away from this property if your travelling with kids, manager is unfriendly and rude.

A good budget hotel
Reviewed By vaibbhav88This is a nice hotel. Dont expect a luxurious stay. Its a decent room with all basic necessities. The owner is a super friendly person who was of great help. He alone manages everything and does a pretty good job at it. The tv set had very few channels and the display was not great, but no complaints since i was least interested in watching tv at such a beautiful hill station. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast is limited to 1 paratha per person!. The location is close to venna lake and overlooks a strawberry farm(the lake is not visible from the hotel though) and has plenty of restaurants nearby. Its at a fair distance from Mahabaleshwar town. It is recommended that you have your own transport if you book this hotel since the bus stop and main market is at a fair distance from the hotel.
