Reviewed By BrendaE1084Louisiana Cajun Mansion is the perfect place to relax for a nice getaway. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to your every request. The breakfast was delicious. There was beautiful grounds and an inviting swimming pool. We stayed in the Juliet room which was awesome, but all there rooms are fabulous.

Newly renovated property with wooden floor, microwave, HBO, Cinemax and refrigerator in every room. At a convenient location with easy accessibility. Walmart, Wendy's, Subway, Tacobell, Popeyes, and Home Depot etc in walking distance.
Gone way downhill
Reviewed By k4356I’ve never reviewed a hotel online, but I’m compelled to do so because of how much this place has changed. I stayed here a couple years ago, pre-Covid (spring 2019, I believe). At the time it was cheap but reliable: a little dingy but totally acceptable for the price. I had a reservation for this past weekend and the condition of the hotel was much different than last time: All the lamps ripped out of the walls, exposed wiring, multiple large holes burned through the comforter, roaches (the tiny kind, not the regular Louisiana palmetto bugs). When we flushed the toilet, the water from the bowl leaked out the bottom. It felt like we were on some kind of hidden camera show. We checked out, canceled our reservation for the following night, and went elsewhere. I share this info because of the extent to which our recent experience doesn’t match the earlier reviews (or my own personal previous experience). Not sure whether it’s under new management or what, but hopefully this will help folks make informed decisions.

We had a warm welcome from the owner who every afternoon does cocktails and chat for new arrivals and existing guests. Our room was well decorated and equipped and the breakfast was substantial. The B and B is within the Sterling Grove Heritage area and we had a pleasant walk round there one afternoon. Highly Recommended.

It is a beautiful old Acadian home located right in the center of Lafayette, Louisiana. Here you will find true cajun hospitality and Free, Fresh Breakfasts every morning. Your stay includes Complimentary Cocktails and Appetizers upon check in, and complimentary breakfast, beverages and soft drinks during your entire stay. All rooms have private baths, cable television and wireless internet. We hope you visit us soon!

Reviewed By InzengaOur room was immaculately clean! My husband commented that the bed and linens were very comfortable. The communication, the hospitality, and the ease of check in\out was the best we had ever experienced. We stayed in the cabin behind the main house. It was rustic, charming, and I’m sure historical, but it had all of the modern amenities that we needed and then some. We had fresh fruit and waters in our room upon arrival, and access to drinks in the main house. The main house is well decorated and appointed with local art, which we loved. And the breakfast… I’m not sure what we were expecting, but it was lovely! All freshly prepared… Scrambled eggs, locally sourced bacon, biscuits, local jam, fruit tart, muffins, orange juice and coffee. We even had avocado toast. It was like having our own private chef. I highly recommend the site. There are several rooms here to choose from, including a very large outdoor patio space that would be great to rent out for a reunion or small party. The location is excellent, close to River Ranch, located off of a main thorough fare with ample parking.
