Weston Priory

Besides the magnificent foliage in October in Vermont, a two day stay at the Weston Priory was as close to heaven as I can imagine: Chanting by the Benedictine brothers, silence at mealtime to truly focus on what we eat, and meditation. A sublime experience

Mill Museum

What a wonderful place to see how things were done and made not so long ago. The live demonstration of corn milling was so interesting and the tin wagon helped explain to younger family how things once were. Such a pretty relaxing place. Looking forward to returning.

Weston Village Store

We were in Weston a chilly and rainy Autumn day. The waiting at Mildred's (VT Country Store) was simply too long so we discovered this gem out of sheer hunger! Without reservation, their clam chowder was the best that we had in all of New England and their sandwiches were delicious! No trip to Weston is complete without savoring their food!
