The largest park in the lower 48 states offers year-round outdoor and indoor environmental activities for all ages.
The Adirondack Park in the winter is an entirely different experience than it is in the summer, and it is worth the trip all over again. I spent most of my weekend going back-and-forth from Lake Placid to Saranac Lake, along which the roads and trees were incredibly scenic. The Adirondacks features so many beautiful and fun winter activities, including skiing, snowboarding, and a plethora of winter carnivals and games. All the facilities are going full-bore with hockey tournaments and other events; you really can’t go wrong visiting. Lot of great places to eat and shop, too. I highly recommend it!

Awesome experience for cross country skiing, small tubing, snowshoeing and ice skating if the weather permitting. My whole family enjoyed one day of winter skiing and tubing. People who works there are are nice and helpful.
