Rainbow Ranch is now Stony Lake Stables

Family-friendly horseback riding, riding lessons and therapeutic riding. Bringing a bit of the old west right here to West Michigan, since 1949.

We have been doing an annual ride for four years now and it is a great experience that my kids (two 9 year old girls) always look forward too. It is the highlight of our vacation. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Nancy let my girls come back another day to help groom a horse and just hang out with the horses- this was wonderful! Thank you Rainbow Ranch!!

Country Dairy

Centennial Dairy Farm. Operating modern dairy farm milking with robots. Country Dairy bottles milk and makes cheese and ice cream from the milk from their own cows. Tours are available to see the processing plant and cows and calves. In addition we have an onsite restaurant offering a wide variety of grilled Paninis, wraps, salads, and burgers. And you can top it off with our fresh ice cream in our ice cream parlor.

I always look for interesting places close to our home base on vacation and found Country Dairy. A working dairy farm where you can have an amazing lunch, buy their fresh milk, cheese and ice cream as well as take a tour of the Farm. Good for children. We enjoyed our visit very much. Very nice and helpful employees.

The three of us frequent visitors to nearby Stony Lake were thrilled to find one of our favorite spots open in light of COVID-19. Greg (the owner) greeted us at the door and ensured us he was operating under CDC guidelines and would be practicing social distancing during our visit. While taste testing was unavailable due to government restrictions, Greg did a great job of thoroughly describing his wines and helping us select the perfect pairs for our dinner (the dry, full-bodied red he recommended went perfectly with our asparagus brats from Mac’s Meats!). Greg also shared his future plans for a beautiful outdoor tasting/seating area that should be perfect during the summer. If you’re in the area, Oceana Winery & Vineyard is a must visit, and you have to try the Chardonel! (one of the best Chardonnay's we’ve had).
