We did a hike behind the hot Springs and later in the evening relaxed our tired bodies.
The changing rooms were clean and if you have any mobility issues easy to enter the pool area.
Both pools are on the small side so can get crowded in the evening so something to keep in mind.

Halcyon Hot Springs Spa

We stayed a night here in a cottage that included access to the amenities but not sure the $350 a night price tag delivered ...sorry. Hot Springs are nice but pretty small. The swimming pool had hardly any chairs for people to sit or relax. Staff was not around to check in while we stood and wait. Nice spot on the lake but been there and done that. Just a nice small cabin with some warm water to soak in a treed hillside along a pretty lake.

This is a fabulous spot for so many activities - hiking, water sports, hot Springs visits or just relaxing at the park. Very well maintained grounds and rest rooms along with large camp sites make this a wonderful spot for camping. We had a great time, even in the rain!

Jennifer Chocolates is a must to experience when in Nakusp. The aroma of freshly melted chocolate filled the senses when my boyfriend & I first opened the door and walked in. Choosing became a pleasurable difficulty! A dozen assorted truffles, a dozen salted caramels and a bag of caramels. Oh so delicious. These are chocolates to savour in a very long moment. To let it melt in the mouth and let the flavour of the truffle reveal itself. I can tell you I had to discipline myself to save a couple of the salted caramels for my two teenage sons for when I returned home. Jennifer and her employee were a delight and it is so apparent that they love what they do. A win for everyone!

Sandy beach

Reviewed By twysted2015 - Kelowna, Canada

Stopped by for a swim and a picnic and the beach is large with a small side location where you can fish. Waters were clean but the beach and grassy area had a lot of goose land mines to be avoided. No big complaints and it is a nice location to check out.
