Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve

The Eco-Park is Closed Due Covid 19. Kuala Sepetang Eco Track operates in Matang Mangrove Forest which boasts 28 true mangrove species and 13 associate species, 19 mammals, 155 species of birds, 112 species of fishes, 3 species of stingrays, 50 species of crabs, 3 species of firefly and 20 species of prawns. Lucky visitors have also spotted the Chinese White Dolphin swimming along the river-mouths. Students from faculty of environmental studies, universiti putra malaysia went to matang mangrove forest reserve, kuala sepetang. The purpose of this trip is to learn the conservation programme from the organisation to ensure the biodiversity in mangrove forest is protected. During this trio, En khairul as tourist guide was explain the species of mangrove located at the matang mangrove forest. Besides, student also experience the river cruise, bird watching and firefly tour. Overall, the trip was interesting and good. The facilities that has been provided by En Khairul and the team is excellent. The view during sunset is nice and beautiful. Good trip ever. Thanks to the En khairul and the team for the hard work and best commitment to ensure the journey of trip is smooth.
