Klontalersee

A few miles/km west of Glarus is a peaceful lake and Reservoir that sits between Mountains. To try to describe the valley and its beauty is futile. There are numerous trails for hiking and roads for bicycles offering incredible views for families, couples and singles. There is a restaurant on the east side of the lake at the top of one of the look outs that offers an incredible view of the valley. A strong recommendation to visit.
