Beachy's Bulk Foods

Reviewed By paojw - Chicago, United States

We have been going to Beachy's for many years, but this is the first time we were in the new, expanded location. Beachy's is basically an Amish grocery store. The selection is amazing, from homemade jams and jellies to fudge, noodles, rugs, seasonings, canned goods, etc. We also had lunch and were thrilled with the sandwiches. In addition, they now accept credit cards (a big bonus so you can stock up). We highly recommend Beachy's.

Winters Gallery

Reviewed By 2pks - East Wenatchee, United States

Found this gallery when travelling through the Amish country around Arthur, IL. Artist Jerry Winter was on site and gave a most interesting explanation of his background. Well worth a visit (also brought home one of his paintings that is a great addition to our home) The Joan Winter Galleries features fine art and collectibles including original work from Igor Levashov, an internationally acclaimed artist. Jerry Winters, Joan's husband and resident artist, is also a celbrated folk artist. His extremely detailed paintings always include the hidden star of the show - "Monet Bouche", their tiny fluff of a teacup poodle.
