If you like pounding surf, and less people, this is the place to go. Miles of beach and very few people on it. The surf pounds the shore and it is very peaceful to sit and stare at the ocean.

This is our second time riding together as a family here. Now the girls are adults, and we have such fond memories of horse rides on the private beach and through the pasture land. Becca was awesome as our guide on the private ride and set up a photo opp on the beach just as the sun was descending over the trees and ocean. Highly recommend.

Aweoweo Beach Park

This is a great beach in the lower North Shore area. There are rest rooms, a decent park area, and a very nice beach in a residential area so it is uncrowded. This area is good for snorkeling, shell and coral collecting, and watching sea turtles - they like to feed on the rocks near the shore at low tide.

Hawaii Polo Trail Rides

My wife and daughter had a lovely trail ride this morning. There were a large number of people so they broke it up into two groups so they were able to ride with just 1 other person and the group leader. It was a nice ride along the beach and into some other ranch land further down. We've done trail rides in Oahu up in the forest, but this was a unique beach ride that my wife and daughter enjoyed. Savana and Jonah were both great horses and were easy for the riders to manage (though they're both experienced riders). Well worth the cost and and great location for a ride.
