Tons of variety for wine, beer, champagne, nice liquor, cigars, etc. Rotating local beers on tap to always try something new. Good place to grab a drink while you browse for something new to try. If they don’t have it they will order it for you if they’ve got a distributor that stocks it. The bar can get crowded but there’s street side seating as well. Nice afternoon or after dinner spot.

I have always loved this type of gift/book/miscellaneous shop. Every corner and every aisle is filled with exceptional gadgets, garden art, children’s games, pet gifts, stationary, greeting cards and the like. I wonder what it’s like to take their inventory once a year...there are thousands of unique and interesting items here. When we visit Mariner’s Inn for lunch we always step across the street to visit here to see the latest items. I never walk out without something cute or intriguing. They also have cookbooks and a wide assortment of Louisiana themed books, too.

Gnarly Barley is setting themselves up for a good run in this craft beer space starting to pick up steam in Louisiana. Great options, great seasonal beers. Interested in what they will make next.
