Cattedrale San Ciriaco

Starting from the center of Ancona, after a long uphill walk, you can admire this magnificent Romanesque cathedral. The cathedral is located right at the top of a hill overlooking Ancona from which you can see a wonderful view of the sea. Where Greek temples once dominated, Christianity has replaced them with this beautiful cathedral. Definitely worth the visit, try it at sunrise or sunset for sure and very suggestive

Baia di Portonovo

Reviewed By GeorginaL699 - Ancona, Italy

Breathtaking sight in all seasons. At its best in spring and autumn. Very crowded in summer, but certainly worth seeing. Should you get hungry there are many restaurants, and the food is really super. In summer you can also get a takeaway pasta at a reasonable price at lunch time, In the spring all the fllowers are in bloom, and the contrast between the blue sea and the yellow flowers is really superbe.
