Marietta GA is my home. Beautiful period architecture, lovely tree lined streets, friendly staff in all the shops and restaurants, crazy fun to people watch because the two courthouses sit on the square LOL. LOVE the Farmers Market ... nice shaded streets in summer, hot cider in winter just a delightful place to visit for a taste of the "New South"

We visit each year on a holiday, usually Memorial Day or Veterans Day. It is humbling to see all these graves - particularly those that are over 150 years old.

Georgia Memorial Cemetery

I visited my father's grave who was buried in the veterans section of valor. I have no problem finding his grave and have positive memories of the experience our family had here several years ago. This location has well maintained grounds and a service for purchase to place flowers on the grave if desired. It makes me feel good that his grave is maintained and the funeral home and chapel are very nice as well.
