Dutchy's also offers rental scuba and snorkel gear, as well as rental stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Stop in to see us for some local advice - Tairua is the first stop on the East coast of the Coromandel Peninsula and is the perfect place to begin a fishing adventure.

Cathedral Cove Dive & Snorkel

PADI Dive Centre - situated at the base of Cathedral Cove, Coromandel Peninsula, and only 5 minutes to Hot Water Beach, Hahei offers spectacular ocean diving and snorkeling trips both within the stunning Marine Reserve plus the outer islands, pinnacles and volcanic coastline outside of the Marine Reserve boundaries. Come into Hahei Village and Hire Snorkel Gear before heading into Cathedral Cove. Dive Trips daily for certified divers, at 9:30am and 1:30pm (9 am/12:30pm and 3:30pm during summer) from our dive shop in Hahei. Specialised Snorkel Tours - great quality equipment provided including a warm wetsuit - first time snorkelers and families all welcome. We provide life jackets and floating devices for non swimmers. PADI Dive Courses Entry level Open Water to Dive Master, Discover Scuba Diving - no experience necessary scuba dive (must be able to swim and feel comfortable in ocean water to complete this course), full sales, air fills, tank testing, rental gear from our Hahei Store.
