Well worth taking a look at this lighthouse,the views from this lighthouse are panoramic across the sea.The sea is so clear around the lighthouse and a stones throw away people swim.

Every evening our stay in Kefalonia we were here.It is charming pedestrian zone,packed with shops and cafes.The pedestrian zone extends from the square( which is perfect place for children in the evening,to run,to ride bicycles..). You should know that there are no working shops between 2 pm and 5 pm. The square is very nice,huge and paved with stone,big free space for children,and parents could sit near in cafe gardens ,or hotel gardens..There are also outdoor shows and festivals. Museums are also nearby(Folklore Museum,Archaeological Museum ...) I especially liked the library,owns over 50 000 books,beautiful building.
