Reviewed By jameseR8357RAWe stayed here as a family of four for a week’s skiing in early April. The hotel is a lovely Swiss style small hotel with a very popular restaurant and magical views. The room we had was very good, but I wouldn’t describe it as luxurious. Comfortable and functional and well decorated. The restaurant was excellent and served delicious food; we had the half board package which provided a limited choice in the evening, but the food was so good and a few deviations from the menu were happily provided. The staff were all very friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome. The ski room is worthy of a mention because it was such a pleasant and practical space to make use of and the herbal tea was a welcome gesture. We would love to come back another time.

We are a convivial and informal family run Bed & Breakfast offering guests 3 bedrooms, with a panoramic view over the Swiss Alps and central Valais. A small farm with rabbits, hens and sheep in a quiet location in Vex, Val d'Herens surrounded by meadows and forests, yet easily reached by train (2h from Geneva or Zurich) to Sion & bus. Our 2 comfortable family bedrooms sleep up to 4 persons each. A shared kitchen is available. Free WIFI and parking. A glamping tipi is a perfect romantic summer getaway. We are also only a 10min drive to the access of the largest Swiss ski resort of the 4 Valleys (Thyon 2000, Veysonnaz, Nendaz, Verbier) from Les Masses chairlift or Telecabin de l'Ours . The free Continental breakfast includes homemade jams and granola. Other services: massages, private yoga, fitness class, photography shoot, art instruction. We accept well behaved dogs. Fluent in French and English. Décor is simple, artsy and uncluttered, with quality Italian sheets and heated floors.
Great B&B, spectacular view

The owners are a lovely couple, fluent in French and English, and will share any information you need. We ate at three restaurants in town, each was very good! We were driving and spending a few days here and there, we had two nights at Bellevie, and it was one of the highlights of our two week trip. Loved it!

Situé dans le domaine des 4 Vallées, cette auberge représente un lieu d'animation important de la station de Thyon. Son bar propose tout au long de la saison, concerts, soirées spéciales et après-ski.Son restaurant mise sur des produits du terroirs et de qualité. Cuisine de 11h00 à 23h00.

Reviewed By catt0nMy 17 yr old son and I spent a lovely 4 nights at the Auberge . The room was pretty basic but had a fabulous view (and there is one with an even better one on the corner that the owner showed us). A French chef prepared the only non-breakfast meal we ate there and did a lovely vegetarian risotto. The hotel was reasonably priced, very convenient, and we were very impressed with the Belgian ladies who ran it. They recommended restaurants even when we were not necessarily eating with them, and could not have been more pleasant. The breakfast spread was fabulous with lots of interesting compote combinations, this alone was enough to make the hotel special. If you are not bothered by a little music in the bar underneath (it wasn't loud honestly), would recommend this place and the new owners wholeheartedly.
