Conveniently located on the Trans-Canada Highway (Saskatchewan Avenue) in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The Westgate Inn is close to city centre and just a short walk or drive from many popular area attractions, restaurants and shopping. Across the street from the Lion's Senior Centre and two blocks from Portage General Hospital.

Reviewed By JeanYHZWe had a very pleasant night at the Westgate Inn. Our host/owner, Paul couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. This is an older style motel on the outskirts of town, but well worth the visit. We have been trying to support local businesses as we cross Canada on our road trip and it’s places like this that make us happy to do so. Our room was spotless, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Even though we were on the bottom front, facing the road, it was very quiet. If you’re in the area, it’s a great spot to spend the night.

Reviewed By calieand the new owners are gradually renovating. Wifi is great and there's a huge new TV and other amenities. Shower was very good and new towels! I really liked that it is just off 1A and close to lots of restaurants etc. It's also only 1/2 block walk to this really great bike path and walk around the lake . Unfortunately, the this motel cries out for a mid-century modern reno, but the owners don't see it. Landscaping outside could use some work but it's Ok if you have a pet. Pet Friendly!! New mattresses, but not pillows

Reviewed By garyv552Wonderful hotel with fantastic amenities. Mt room was very clean, and had great TVs ( if you see Samsung TVs in your room you know they are into investing in the hotel. I looked at the ratings between Expedia and Tripadvisor, and thought, these are not right, I have been in hospitality for over 18 years and working at 5-star hotels/resorts. This place is great and deserves at least a 4.2 rating plus some.

With our comfortable pillowtop mattresses and our superb customer service team, every night with us is like a vacation itself!

Reviewed By bgirl90The family had a great stay at the Super 8. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, the room was clean and the bagged breakfast was good. Housekeeping staff were very quiet when they were working in the room next to ours.
